An unusual piece for me and an exciting avenue for exploration. I really like the way this piece captures and moves the light from outside the mass of the stone to its interior. The captured light within the glass at the base of the stone is of a much different quality than the light in the upper portion. This piece is an exploration of the connection between body and soul, physical and spiritual, mass and light.
